Housebuilder and land promoter MJ Gleeson said it expected to deliver a full-year result in line with current market forecasts.

'Demand for Gleeson's low-cost homes remains strong and selling prices continue to increase, as planned,' chairman Dermot Gleeson said in speech notes for the company's AGM.

'The average selling price on new reservations since the start of the financial year was 12% higher than in the same period last year.'

Gleeson said the business was performing well, despite widely reported challenges including supply issues, increases in material and labour costs and planning delays.
