Wizz Air passenger volumes slump 87% in February

Budget carrier Wizz Air said it carried 87% less passengers during the month of February as the pandemic continued to hammer the travel sector.

Passenger numbers in February dropped to 382,928, down from 3,014,341 in February 2020.

The company's load factor contracted 24 percentage points to 69.8%.
