Augmentum Fintech books rise in net assets, led by portfolio gains

Augmentum Fintech reported a rise in net assets, led by investment gains from its portfolio companies.

For the six months ending 30 September 2019, net asset value per share increased 2.4% to 112.2p, with overall NAV increasing from £103m to £131.4m.

Upward valuations in its porfolio of £14.9m had been offset, however, by a decrease in the valuation of Zopa leaving an overall gain on investments of £4.6m, the company said.

Augmentum invested £5m in Habito, the UK online mortgage broking and lending platform, and €6, in German fintech Grover, while £8.5m was invested in existing portfolio companies Monese, Tide and DueDil.
