Materials group Haydale reported wider losses as one-off costs offset an uptick in revenue.
For the year ended 30 June 2019, pre-tax losses widen to £7.76m from £6.12m a year earlier as total income rose to £4.25m from £4.23m, with commercial revenues rising to £3.47m from £3.4m.
The wider loss was driven by costs included non-cash items of £3.10m and one-off costs of £0.35m, the company said.
The initial growth of £0.5m in the US business following a total of $1.5m investment in capital equipment, was offset by write down in the UK (RPC) business.
