Turnaround specialist investment company Volvere reported first half revenues up 39% to £10.1m and profit (including discontinued operations) of £2.45m (£0.91m).
The historical results have been restated to reflect the sale of Impetus Automotive and Sira Defence & Security. The 80%-owned frozen pie and pastry business Shire Foods is the company's remaining and only business.
Shire Foods saw record revenues with improved profitability.
The Group undertook two share buy-backs in June 2019, for a total consideration of £16.6 million. Cumulative share-buy backs to date total £32.1 million.
