Professional services group RBG swung to a first-half profit after it boosted legal services revenues.
Pre-tax profit for the six months through June amounted to £3.2m, compared to a loss of £21.8m on-year.
Revenue rose 12% to £10.2m and the company declared an interim dividend of 2p per share.
'The first six months have seen financial and operational progress, in what has been a challenging economic environment,' chief executive Nicola Foulston said.
'We continue to see double-digit growth in our revenue, and importantly, we are maintaining high net margins on the work we do.'
'It is important to note that our growth prospects are not just dependent on litigation finance and M&A.'
'We can generate traditional legal service revenues from contentious work at attractive margins.'
'Looking ahead, we are excited by the prospects of the business, especially as the market improves, and as we grow and broaden the professional services, we can provide to clients.'
