Healthcare software provider Emis Group reported a fall in profit in line with management expectations in the first half of the year.
For the six months ended 30 June 2019, pre-tax profit fell £12.1m from £12.6m a year earlier even as revenue increased 7% to £79.8m
'We have continued to demonstrate good progress in the first half of 2019, delivering positive results in line with the Board's expectations, with both revenue and adjusted operating profit ahead of the comparative period,' the company said.
The company said it would continue to focus on the execution of a strategic plan to provide mid-to-high single digit revenue growth and improved margins, towards 30%, in the mid-term.
'With our balance of technology, clinical standards and a continuously improving technical environment, the Group is well placed to deliver on its growth and margin targets,' the company said.
