Jubilee Metals Group reported higher earnings as output was bolstered by bringing new operations on-line in the first half of the year.

For the six month period ended 30 June 2019, operational earnings jumped 47% to £5.64m as revenues surged 75% to £14.36m.

The performance had been achieved through a 'considerable uplift in production figures across our portfolio, both in chrome and PGMs,' the company said.

Production of chrome concentrate increased significantly to reach 164,936 tonnes for H1 2019 with both the DCM fine chrome and the Windsor chrome (previously referred to as PlatCro) operations brought on-line.

Production of Platinum Group Metals (PGM), including platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium and gold, reached 11,559 ounces for H1 2019 with Q2 2019 delivering 6,473 ounces.

The company said was targeting to bring the copper refining line at the Sable Zinc Kabwe Refinery into operation during H2 2019.
