Recruitment company Prime People more than doubled its annual profit after a jump in revenue in its Asia Pacific offset more subdued conditions at home.
Pre-tax profit for the year through March rose to £2.5m, up from £1.2m on-year.
Revenue rose 7.6% to £24.66m.
Prime People declared a full-year dividend of 5.20p, up 4% on-year.
'I am pleased to announce the group delivered a strong performance in the year ended 31 March with increased revenue and profitability,' chief executive Peter Moore said.
'The UK proved resilient with our permanent business reporting solid results while the UK contract division held up well against the backdrop of legislative changes.'
