Ireland’s decline in producer prices sped up in December, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Thursday.
Irish producer prices fell 6.4% on-year in December, following a 5.3% decline in November.
Monthly, producer prices were 0.6% lower in December, after no change in November.
Notably, electricity prices were 21% lower on-year in December, sped up from a 16% fall in November. Monthly, Irish electricity prices dropped 12% in December after a 22% price jump in November.
