Union Jack Oil PLC - onshore exploration, development and production in the UK and US - Says it received a second purported requisition to call a general meeting from former director Craig Howie late on Monday, but after taking legal advice did not consider the notice to be valid. The company adds that Howie withdrew the requisition early on Tuesday morning, before market open.
