Irish GDP falls by 0.3% quarterly in third quarter, worse than eyed

Ireland’s economy fell sharper than anticipated in the third quarter, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Thursday.

The country’s gross domestic product declined by 0.3% in the third quarter, which is more than a late October estimate of 0.1% by the CSO.

On-year growth however was 10.8% in the third quarter, higher than the October estimate of 10.5%.
