Irish unemployment rate falls to 4.9% in November from 5.0% in October

Ireland’s unemployment rate improved a notch in November, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Wednesday.

The jobless rate fell to 4.9% in November from 5.0% in October.

The unemployment rate for females in Ireland was unchanged at 5.0%, while for males it decreased to 4.9% in November from 5.0% in October.

Meanwhile, Ireland’s youth unemployment rate for those aged 15 to 24 was unchanged at 13.4%.
