Production in Ireland’s manufacturing sector fell sharply in June, seasonally adjusted data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Friday.
The country’s production in manufacturing industries declined 12% in June, after growth of 12% in May. In April, production had also fallen by 12% monthly.
The annual growth in production in Ireland’s manufacturing industries slowed to 12% in June from a hefty 36% in May, which had accelerated from 17% in April.
