Blencowe Resources PLC, up 13% at 3.50 pence, 12-month range 2.55p-6.12p. The mineral explorer and developer says testwork for graphite from its Orom-Cross asset in Uganda are continuing as part of the Safeloop programme. Safeloop is a three-year programme funded by the EU. Blencowe says the graphite from Orom-Cross ‘outperforms in testing’.

Pharos Energy PLC, up 6.4% at 20.10p, 12-month range 17.50p-27.98p. The company, with production and exploration operations in Egypt and Vietnam, rises as it tracks Brent higher. A barrel of Brent jumped to $74.26 Friday morning, from $69.66 at the time of the London equities close on Thursday. Oil prices jumped after an Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.

On The Beach Group PLC, down 1.3% at 262.54p, 12-month range 127.75p-290.00p. Geopolitical tensions are weighing on travel shares. Among London’s large-caps, British Airways parent International Consolidated Airlines Group SA is down 4.4%, while among 250s, Wizz Air Holdings PLC is 2.1% lower.
