Datalex PLC on Thursday said it had a decrease in its revenue in 2024, despite reporting ‘positive progress’.

The Dublin-based airline e-commerce solutions provider had a 4.9% decrease in its revenue in 2024 to $27.5 million from $28.9 million the previous year. Its pretax loss widened to $10.2 million from $9.0 million.

It reported several customer contracts ended in 2023, resulting in ‘a drag on year-on-year growth, given this revenue did not recur in 2024.’

Looking forward, the company noted that it had ‘positive progress’, adding that its actions in 2024 have laid the groundwork for stronger performance in 2025 and onwards.

Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Rockett said: ‘Whilst it was disappointing to see revenue decline, after excluding non-recurring revenue, the underlying performance and momentum in platform revenue is promising. The financial performance in 2024 does not reflect the progress made, and I am confident that the actions we have taken will deliver stronger financial performance in 2025.’
