DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Saga chair invests £2 million after results

The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Wednesday and Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Saga PLC - Kent, England-based provider of services to people aged 50 and over - Chair Roger De Haan buys 1.5 million shares at £1.35, worth £2.0 million, and Chief Executive Officer Mike Hazell buys 78,125 shares at £1.24, worth £96,875, both on Wednesday. De Haan now has at 27% stake. Saga on Wednesday reported a £160.2 million loss in the financial year that ended January 31, widened from £123.8 million in financial 2024, but it said it made ‘strategic progress’ during the year.

Safestore Holdings PLC - Hertfordshire, England-based self-storage provider with more than 200 stores in UK, France, Spain and Benelux - CEO Frederic Vecchioli buys 135,000 shares at £5.42 and £5.53, worth £738,437, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

London Stock Exchange Group PLC - financial market data vendor and exchange operator - Non-Executive Director William Vereker buys 1,400 shares at average £108.28, worth £151,585, on Tuesday.

Conduit Holdings Ltd - parent of Bermuda-based reinsurance firm Conduit Re - Departing CEO Trevor Carvey buys 50,000 shares at average £3.33, worth £166,690, on Tuesday. Carvey left the company on Friday last week, having led Conduit since its formation in 2020. Conduit Executive Chair Neil Eckert became interim CEO, as the company searches for a new CEO.

Fintel PLC - Huddersfield, England-based provider of fintech and support services - Joint CEO Neil Stevens, together with wife Gemma Stevens, buys 60,000 shares, mostly at £2.23, worth about £135,000. Stevens had bought 130,000 shares last week. He now has 3.0 million shares, a 2.9% stake.

River Global PLC - London-based asset and wealth management firm formerly known as AssetCo PLC - North Atlantic Smaller Cos Investment Trust PLC buys 400,000 B shares at 30.24p, worth £120,975, on Monday. The trust had bought 550,000 B shares on Friday last week. River Global Non-Executive Director Christopher Mills, who is connected to North Atlantic Smaller Cos and other investors in River Global, is interested in 27.0 million River Global A shares, 18.7% of the total, and 32.0 million B shares, 22.2% of the total.

Vistry Group PLC - Kent-based housebuilder - Kate Woolliscroft, associate of Chief Strategy Officer Mike Woolliscroft, buys 18,784 shares at £5.30, worth £99,486, on Wednesday.
