Capita PLC - London-based outsourcing and professional services company, which is a contractor for the UK government and local authorities - Extends contract with Education Authority of Northern Ireland, valued at £107 million. The contract runs from Tuesday until the end of March 2027, with an option to extend for two years on a 1+1 basis. Under the contract, Capita will continue to deliver the managed IT service and application services to all 1,104 schools across Northern Ireland.

Capita says: ‘This contract aligns with Capita’s strategy to combine people, processes and technology to significantly improve delivery of complex processes at scale for customers, and to create a better experience for their end-users, in this instance the staff and pupils of Northern Ireland’s schools.’

Current stock price: 13.13 pence, up 1.2% on Tuesday; market capitalisation £223.3 million.
