Likewise Group PLC - Birmingham, England-based floor coverings distributor - Tells annual general meeting that overall gross sales revenue increases 8.5% in the first half of 2024 from a year before. Sales in Likewise-branded business rises 15%. Within that, sales of Likewise Floors jump by 20%. ‘Whilst market conditions remain challenging, the group is confident in further overall sales increases in the traditionally busier H2,’ Chief Executive Tony Brewer says. Likewise notes it has a total sales force of 94 following the recruitment of 13 new sales executives since November last year. It says this investment ‘will ultimately create a much larger business and facilitate the achievement of the group’s medium term sales and profit objectives’.
