BT Group PLC on Monday said it appointed Raphael Kubler, chief operating officer of Deutsche Telekom AG, to its board as non-executive director, starting on Tuesday.
The London-based telecommunications company said Kubler replaces Adel Al-Saleh as the nominated representative of Deutsche Telekom on its board, in accordance with terms agreed at the time of BT’s acquisition of EE Ltd in 2016. T-Mobile Holdings Ltd, which is owned by Deutsche Telekom, has a 12% stake in BT, according to Morningstar.
Apart from being COO of Deutsche Telekom, Kubler has worked as chief finance officer of T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH, which is Deutsche Telekom’s mobile operations in Germany.
