Vanquis Banking Group PLC - Bradford, England-based lender - Chief Financial Officer Neeraj Kapur steps down from his role with immediate effect due to ‘personal reasons’. Names Chief Risk Officer Gareth Cronin as interim CFO while it conducts a search for a permanent successor. Says Cronin will be supported by the ‘deep senior bench’ in both the group finance and treasury functions.

Chief Executive Officer Ian McLaughlin says: ‘Neeraj has played a key role in our transformation to a specialist banking group focused on mid-cost and near-prime customers and I would like to thank him on behalf of the board, and the group.’
