BBGI Global Infrastructure SA - Luxembourg-based investment firm - Says its acquisition of a 25% stake in the Center Hospitalier de l'Universite de Montreal has fallen through, as certain conditions have not been completed. CHUM is a hospital located in central Montreal in the province of Quebec, Canada. BBGI had agreed to buy a 25% stake in the Canadian healthcare network for around C$88 million, about £57 million, back in October 2021.

Co-Chief Executives Duncan Ball & Frank Schramm says: "We continue to source attractive investment opportunities from BBGI's pipeline of availability-style investments, maximising the benefits of our strategic investment partnerships and experience. Our strategy is to remain disciplined and selective in our approach to acquisition opportunities."
