Entain PLC on Wednesday said it extended its community sports investment-based partnership with the Trident Leagues.
Entain's 'Pitching In' partnership with the Trident Leagues is an investment programme designed to support and promote grassroots sports.
Launched in 2020, Entain said it invests £150,000 every year to enable sports clubs to engage in community-based projects.
On Wednesday, the sports betting and gambling company said this partnership has secured a multi-year extension which it says will provide further critical funding in the coming years.
The Trident Leagues consist of 248 clubs that make up the Northern Premier, Isthmian and Southern Leagues.
Entain owns betting brands such as Ladbrokes, Coral and PartyPoker.
Shares in the FTSE 100 firm were up 2.9% at 1,239.00 pence on Wednesday morning in London.
