ECR Minerals PLC - London-based gold explorer with assets in Australia - On Friday says its Australian subsidiary Mercator Gold Holdings Pty Ltd sold a property for A$950,000, or roughly £546,200. Expects the completion and settlement of the deal to occur around 30 days. Does not disclose who purchased the property. The property is located at 177 Bassett Road, Victoria, Australia.

‘I am pleased to announce that we have actioned the first in a series of planned disposals of non-core assets as outlined in our recent strategic update. The agreed Bassett Road property sale price is at a slight premium to the purchase price in 2021 and the funds will add a significant cash sum to our existing resources,’ Chief Executive Andrew Haythorpe says.

Current stock price: 0.97 pence, up 2.0% on Monday
