Oakley Capital net asset value grows and partially sells Seedtag stake

Oakley Capital Investments Ltd on Wednesday reported growth in net asset value, as it announced the partial sale of its stake in advertising firm Seedtag.

NAV grew to 630 pence per share as of June 30, up 42% from 445p a year ago. NAV per share return was 11%, unchanged from a year ago.

Oakley Capital Investments provides access to the Oakley Capital Private Equity funds. It sees a strong demand for assets and a ‘robust earnings outlook for portfolio companies’.

Further, Oakley announced its Origin Fund sold a part of its stake in contextual advertising company Seedtag to Advent International Corp, a private equity investor, for around £13 million.

Seedtag said it raised over €250 million in funding from Advent which it will use to expand its US business.

Oakley Capital shares were up 5.4% to 422.00 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
