Town Centre Securities PLC - Leeds, England-based property investment and car parking operator - Confirms Sky News press report that YourParkingSpace Ltd is in ‘advanced stages’ of a sale to Flowbird Group, but says some details in the press article are ‘inaccurate’. Says if successfully completed, the sale will result in Town Centre Securities receiving up to £20.7 million for its stake in the online parking platform.
On Monday, Sky News reported that YourParkingSpace co-founders are ‘close to concluding a deal with Flowbird, a giant US rival’ to sell the company for £120 million.
‘There can be no certainty that a transaction will take place. The company will provide a further announcement as soon as possible,’ Town Centre Securities adds.
