Amte Power PLC - developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cells - Signs a memorandum of understanding with Mahle Powertrain Ltd, the engineering services division of German automotive parts manufacturer Mahle GmbH. Explains that the agreement is the first step towards a commercial partnership. The partnership will entail the testing of AMTE Power's ultra high power cells in MPT's battery development centre in Northampton to support the development of electric vehicles.
