Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd on Monday said it has hired the chair of London-based environmental investment fund JLEN Environmental Assets Group Ltd, Richard Morse, as its own chair.
Morse will join Renewables Infrastructure on July 18 as non-executive director and succeed current Chair Helen Mahy in the fourth quarter of 2022, the London-based investment trust focused on renewable energy said.
Previously, Morse has served as deputy director general at electricity & gas industry regulator Ofgem and as managing director of New York-based bank Goldman Sachs Group Inc. He has been the chair of JLEN since its initial public offering 2014.
Renewables Infrastructure shares were 0.3% higher at 132.75 pence each in London on Monday morning.
