Ananda Developments PLC - London-based grower and provider of medical cannabis - In the year ended January 31, company widens its total comprehensive loss for the year to £970,343 from £495,109. Total current assets at January 31 stand at £110,938, up from £12,718 at the same time a year ago. Company says the highlight of its year was when the UK government granted the company's 50% owned subsidiary DJT Plants Ltd a licence to grow medical cannabis for research purposes in May. It adds, however, that its annual loss was mainly due to the construction costs of this subsidiary. Progresses on acquiring the outstanding 50% stake in DJT Plants.
