Informa PLC - London-based business publisher and events organiser - Completes the divestment of its Pharma Intelligence division to private equity firm Warburg Pincus for £1.7 billion in cash and a 15% stake in Pharma Intelligence going forward.
Pharma Intelligence is a provider of drug, device, clinical trial and market intelligence in the pharmaceutical and medtech markets. The divestments falls under a new strategy which will see Informa focus on two markets going forward: the Academic and the B2B markets.
