Chesnara PLC - Preston, England-based insurance company - Completes the acquisition of both Sanlam Life & Pensions UK Ltd and Robein Leven NV.

The company announced the acquisition of London-based specialist insurance and long-term savings products products SLP for £39 million in cash in September. The acquisition of Dutch insurance company Robein Leven for £13.0 million in cash was first announced in November.

‘Undertaking value-adding acquisitions is a key pillar of our strategy and Chesnara has now completed a total of 11 transactions over its history. Looking forward, the mergers and acquisitions market continues to be buoyant and we remain optimistic about our ability to undertake further acquisitions,’ Chief Executive Steve Murray comments.
