Cindrigo Holdings Ltd - Guernsey, Channel Islands-based energy producer - Says that its proposed waste to energy project in Kiev has been suspended due to ‘dreadful events’ in Ukraine following the invasion by Russia. Hopes to continue with its projects in the country once political stability has returned.

Notes that it has been seeking to diversify its project portfolio away from reliance on waste to energy projects in Ukraine since summer 2021. Has been investigating projects in the geothermal sector through the potential acquisition of Toronto-based Energy CoInvest Global Corp as part of this strategy. Says that due diligence is in the final stages and expects to exercise the option for the acquisition in the near future.
