ASOS PLC on Wednesday said it has suspended sales in Russia as the country's invasion of Ukraine continues.

The London-based online fast fashion retailer had suspended sales in Ukraine immediately after the invasion had begun, due to it being impossible to serve customers in the country.

For the year ended August 31, Russia and Ukraine represented 4% of group revenue, which was £3.91 billion. The two countries also contributed £20 million in profit.

Shares in ASOS closed 1.1% lower at 1,801.50 pence on Wednesday in London.
