(Alliance News) - Kainos Group PLC said on Monday it has acquired another partner of Workday Adaptive Planning to increase its capabilities in Europe as a Workday Inc partner.

The Belfast-based software company said it has completed the acquisition of Planalyse BV, a Netherlands-based private company, on undisclosed terms.

Planalyse has been a partner of US software-vendor Workday's Workday Adaptive Planning company for over four years. It supports the company with deployments, as well as building and optimising forecasting models. Planalyse's team of six consultants will join Kainos' European Workday AP team.

Kainos is a Workday services partner, and has already made three acquisitions in the Workday AP ecosystem: Formulate, Implexa and IntuitiveTek. The acquisition will strengthen its delivery capabilities for Workday AP across Europe, the company said.

Chief Executive Officer Brendan Mooney commented: "For over 16 years, Planalyse have been a leader in the deployment of financial planning and analysis solutions. In combining our two experienced teams, we are extending our ability to support our European customers with their Workday Adaptive Planning requirements."

Shares in Kainos were down 1.2% to 1,483.70 pence each in London on Monday morning.
